2011-2012 concert series announced!
The dates and programmes for the 2011-2012 concert series have been announced, and are now available to view on our website.
Rehearsals
Summer/Autumn 2011
Rehearsals this next term are at St Michael's C of E School, South Lawn Terrace, Heavitree, starting on 6th Sept (except half term 25th Oct).
Members are asked to attend by 7.15 to start playing by 7.30. Please note that the AGM will take place at 7.15 for 7.30 on Tuesday 13th Sept before the rehearsal.
Sept 6th: Full for all who come - give out music.
Sept 13th: AGM. Whatever is left carry on from last week.
Sept 20th: Mozart/Bruch for all
Sept 27th or 4th Oct: Sectionals: Fiona – strings - whatever. Mark WW -
Moz/Bruch and sections of CG. Brian - Brass - mainly CG - end of sectional
horns/tpts.
Sept 27th or Oct 4th: Lightly scored CG music - Vivaldi/Handel etc
Oct 11th: Full - incl trbs/tuba for all heavyweight pieces
Oct 18th: Mozart/Bruch for all - look at sections and small groups
Oct 25th: HT I believe
Nov 1st : First half sectional - all CG music
Nov 8th: Full including Trbs for CG music.
